Aaron Voloj Dessauer is Of Counsel to the firm. Aaron served as the inaugural executive director of the Institute for Law, Technology and Innovation at Florida State University Law School where he taught courses on data privacy, AI and corporate governance.
Prior to that, he worked as a corporate lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, two of the leading law firms in the world and served as a long-time associate to Alan Dershowitz, the legendary Harvard Law professor and constitutional and criminal lawyer. Aaron also served as a legal advisor to the Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations and as a lecturer at Yale Law School. He also served as an adjunct professor in law and philosophy at the University of Münster in Germany, where he graduated first in his class summa cum laude.
Aaron was the recipient of numerous academic awards and fellowships. In addition, he was a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, at Harvard University, and the Yale Center for Law and Philosophy.
Aaron holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, a M.A. from New York University and a Ph.D. from the University of Münster. He serves on several boards, including the Board of Directors of American Fidelity Assurance.
